If you were offline, you only had the shitty left sidebar to work with, lame!!!Ħ- And speaking of the left sidebar, love the simplicity of it, keep it that way! Nice to see all of the Ys games in proper order.ĥ- The old GOG Galaxy was half depended on an online connection in order to make usage of the right section of the launcher. For someone, who less than a year ago, was 95% physical gamer with a bunch of different consoles, it feels nice to see these big pictures who are not only better than the ones you get with Steam but unlike Steam, can be sorted by tags in with those big pictures.ģ- And speaking of sorting, Galaxy 1.0 and the website itself had a weird glitch where when you sorted by tags, the games were not in alphabetical order, happy that this is fixedĤ- And speaking of sorting by alphabetical order, how great is it that you can rename any games with numbers in front of them so that you may sort them the way YOU want. Now it’s very possible that some of these will have been brought to GOG’s attention before and if so, all I have to say is “add it to the pile then”.ġ- Great start, I mean ya, I used it for less than 2 weeks and it may have been different at first, but so far, it’s pretty damn good in general.Ģ- I’m in love with those large “box arts” for all of the games. I’ve been playing around with GOG Galaxy 2.0 for over a week now, so I figured I shared my thoughts on this launcher, both the positives and negatives as well as give some suggestions in the process. So after subscribing for the BETA since day one and waiting until the 24th of July for approval, it was finally my turn to try out this baby.
