The player can also use certain fixed weapons like mounted machine guns, anti-aircraft guns and anti-tank rifles, both sides have their own fixed weapon counterpart, for example: the US army has the M2 Browning machine gun as standard issue in their base defenses and then the Japanese uses the Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun, both have their own characteristics but the player can use both of them. The player has a large assortment of weapons for use from both the US army and the Japanese army which he can pick up from either dead bodies or from the ground, ammo is obtained from either picking up the same type of gun the player currently has or finding ammo boxes scattered around levels.
